Technology Risk and Resiliency- Manager, US

Do you have an interest in assisting clients with transforming the way they drive business strategy while managing IT risk and resiliency challenges, in an increasingly technology dependent financial services industry? More than ever, our clients' business is about interpreting and reacting to the complex business and technology strategies being implemented and they look to us for advice and services they can trust. You will use your professional skills and experience to make it happen, assisting our clients to address the increasing pressures related to Enterprise and Operational Resilience including focus on Enterprise Resilience Frameworks and Programs, Cloud Resilience, Last Good Copy and Isolated Recovery Strategy, Heightened Third Party Resilience, and more.
The role of the manager consultant is vital to the core of an engagement and EY team: the engagement team and the client rely on the manager to understand and explain the big picture while also knowing the details for improving processes. On a typical day, you will lead teams and client meetings, guide and coach team members, and work through the details to solve complex client problems across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Lines of Defense. You will provide a pivotal role in key stakeholder management providing insight to client leaders and partnering with EY leadership. Projects may include how to design, build, improve, and implement Enterprise and Operational Resilience programs; evaluate the maturity of existing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs as clients start thinking about resilience while also benchmarking against peers; assess the technology and resilience related risks for critical initiatives; understand regulatory expectations and how firms need to address them; and help design and integrate resilience related governance functions, such as risk and control frameworks and risk monitoring into existing IT Risk structures.
You may also gain exposure to and use your professional skills assisting our clients to address the increasing pressures on IT Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management, IT Regulatory Compliance, Cyber Risk, Cloud Risk, and GRC Technology Strategy & Enablement.

Through building knowledge and experience, you'll become a trusted advisor to our clients, as well as senior and staff consultants within the organization as well as the clients.

To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience.
Knowledge of Operational Resilience, Technical Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery programs, Cyber Resilience, Third Party Management, integrated testing programs (e.g., technology, business, vendor resilience testing) including the alignment of critical business services to technology assets and vendors, or resilience risk and testing reporting / scorecards
Strong candidates will hold at least one relevant professional certification, such as CBCP, CISSP, CRISC, CISA, and CISM.
Experience leading diverse and complex teams
Understanding of risk management practices and a deep knowledge and experience with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and frameworks within the financial industry such as FFIEC, NIST, ISO27001, GLBA, OCC Heightened Standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing, client presentations, and project management.
Ideally, you'll also have
Experience in IT Risk Transformation services such as IT Risk Management, Resilience Tech Enablement Tools and Technology (e.g., Fusion Risk Management, ServiceNow), and / or financial regulators.
Experience working with technology, business, operations teams, internal audit, regulatory examiners, and / or third parties
Project management skills
Prior consulting, tech, or financial experience
Willingness to travel between 25-50% if needed

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $110,200 to $202,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $132,200 to $229,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
