Coty US LLC Business Sales Planner & Analyst, Sephora in New York, New York

We're looking for a Sales Analyst to join our Luxury Sephora Sell in Team. This role is critical in achieving financial growth targets across key categories. This role reports directly into the Senior Business Sales Director and will working closely with internal and external cross functional partners.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Retail and Gross Sales Reporting & Analysis:
Analyze weekly, monthly, season and fiscal year retail sales performance to determine areas of opportunity and provide overview to senior leadership
Track and ensure gross, net and retail plan delivery by collaborating with sales managers and account buying teams to identify opportunities and risks
Work with Field and Education teams to develop and align on top line and by door goals for all in store events and other field support dates
Work with cross functional teams to develop product assortments based on business trends and company inventory position
Partner with BSM on all visual merchandising updates to ensure all additions and exits are communicated internally and externally to drive retail sales and minimize returns

Forecast basic, promotional and innovation items
Ensure high in stock levels for launches, events, key consumption periods
Work with Business Sales Manager and demand planning partners to monitor and identify key inventory opportunities
Build new product launch shipment and retail sales forecast by conducting detailed analysis of historical, competitive and market data
Align on innovation potential with Sephora buying partner and marketing, ensure sufficient stock is forecasted to cover account need
Work in partnership with DP and Supply Chain to improve forecast accuracy
Special Projects & Deep Dive Analysis
Create adhoc customized reporting and analysis to meet business needs
Assist in developing presentations by providing data in a clear, concise manner that garners the account's full support
We'd love to see candidates who have:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 5+ years in Sales, Category Management or Retail Management
Strong analytical ability; attention to detail and organizational/time management skills
Ability to work with data from multiple sources and interpret the data to provide actionable conclusions
Desire to work in a strong team environment
Well-developed interpersonal / communication skills. Has an ability to build relationships to drive results and can present regularly to small-medium size groups.
Demonstrates problem solving skills and working under tight timelines; multi-tasking abilities; exception-based management capability
Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external stakeholders
Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others
Sound understanding of Coty and Customer networks
Well organized, with a passion for follow-through and completion
Flexibility to travel as required
