Yeshiva University Casual Staff - Recreational Supervisor in New York, New York
Recreational Supervisors will help out with the setup and execution of game day operations for a variety of Men & Women sports including: baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball.
This is a part time position working less than 19 hrs a week.
Among other things, Recreational Supervisors will perform duties such as setting up: chairs, working scoreboards and shot clocks, keeping statistics, ball running, officiating lines, videotaping, crowd control, and clean up after events.
Recreational Supervisors will be required to sit down with their campus Director at the time of hiring to set a work schedule for the current Athletic Season and school year. They are expected to be in touch with their Director before each game to check on their specific role and duties for the game and any other details. Recreational Supervisors will be expected to arrive early and stay through the game for clean-up.
Experience & Educational Background:
Applicants should be able to make a commitment to multiple sports and for the current Athletic Season and school year.
Skills & Competencies:
Familiarity with the rules of each sport is helpful for bookkeeping and operating scoreboards and shot clocks, as well as officiating and running lines.
Experience with videotaping technology is desirable.
