The Inv Sales Service Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.The Private Bank at Citi (CPB) is part of the Institutional Clients Group and offers a wide range of products and solutions, including investment strategies, banking and lending, trust and specialized services.The Private Bank delivers solutions to help meet the individual, family and business needs of over 10,000 ultra-high net worth clients around the world. The Private Bank is focused on clients with a minimum net worth of $25mm and serves 40% of the world’s billionaires and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • The Investment Sales Sr. Analyst role is to provide a wide variety of service and support to Citi Investment Management (CIM) Traditionals Sales team, Investment Counselors, Banking Teams and CIM Product Specialists across Citi Private Bank.

  • Provide high level of support, including but not limited to sales and after sales on CIM Managed Investment product (CIM Single Strategies, CIM Portfolios Solutions and 3rd party strategies), training and education for ICs/bankers, present in internal meetings and conference calls on Investment product features and benefits and help launch new product offerings.

  • Collect, organize and report on CIM Managed Investment Sales Data to provide insights into trends/flows, track initiatives and identify areas of focus for the Investments team.

  • Build and maintain relationships with IC/Banker base, be familiar with target clients for various investment products and offerings

  • Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking and time management very important

  • Manage high call volume, screen and prioritize phone calls, take initiative with Banker/IC inquiries

  • Help support the senior members of the investment team in their delivery of investment solutions to clients.

  • Monitor and provide guidance on the markets to internal and external clients, incorporating the views of The Private Bank’s Investment Committee.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience

  • Banking and/or investment experience Strong communication, written and follow up skills. Detailed oriented and strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work without direction. Self motivated. Strong Microsoft office skills.
