Citigroup Citi Private Bank – AVP/VP Banking & Treasury Management Sales Associate in New York, New York
As a Citi Private Bank (CPB) Treasury Management Sales Associate, you will provide added sales support to a team of seasoned CPB Banking & Treasury Management Sales Specialists covering the Northeast and Florida. These Sales Specialists work closely with CPB banker teams across the Americas to assist in generating new banking & Treasury Management business from existing & prospective clients across Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW), High Net Worth (HNW) clients. Key segment focus includes Family Offices, Real Estate, Private Equity and Sports Teams/Leagues. The successful Sales Associate candidate must possess knowledge of general business banking, treasury management tools and deposit product solutions.
Objectives/Fundamental Responsibilities:
Preparing & presenting comparative fee analyses, product proposals & RFP’s
Following up on inquiries from clients & bankers regarding Banking & Cash Management services
One off product sales to clients
Conducting online banking tutorials & online banking platform demonstrations to clients
Visiting clients/prospects alone or with the Sales Specialists and providing post meeting follow-up
Preparing client relationship reviews & presenting them with Sales Specialists
Submitting, tracking & following up on implementation requests (new product additions, maintenance requests & termination of services)
Routinely connect with product and implementation partners
Attend weekly treasury channel calls and disseminate summaries of key topics
Continually focus on personal growth & development – targeted trainings, development courses, seminars etc.
Establish billing for implemented services and monitoring billing and account analysis requests
Ad hoc financial projects and monthly business reviews for the sales head
Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of 5-7+ years of banking experience
Current or previous role as a Banking / Treasury Sales Associate
Experience working with Commercial, Middle Market or Corporate Clients
B.A./B.S. (required)
Knowledge of treasury management products, banking & the client sales cycle
Awareness of Private Banking (preferable, but not required)
High degree of professionalism
Strong written, listening & verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and consistent follow-up skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and display general responsiveness at all times
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation and/or willingness to pursue
Proficiency in MS Office, internet applications & pipeline reporting systems
