Next Jump Co-Head of Children’s Education in New York, New York

Co-Head of Children?s Education

Little NxJumpers Program started in 2017 as a strategic investment in New Jump employees and their Families. The program, which includes After School and Summer Camp programs, is anchored in traditional content including Academics, Foreign Language, STEAM and Physical Fitness. However, what makes the program unique is its 21st-century curriculum. Designed from Next Jump?s renowned adult growth and development programs, the fundamentals have been adapted to help children to practice decision-making skills and leadership skills at a young age.


  • Graduate degree in education or related field

  • 8 years of education experience with at least 3 years of supervisory experience

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, interpersonal and instructional skills

  • Able to follow directions closely, take initiative, organize, work independently and collaboratively, prioritize, multi-task, follow-up and accomplish a variety of tasks and responsibilities simultaneously

  • Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving

  • Attentive to detail, extremely well organized, has high professional standards


  • understand NxJ mission and vision as well as create and develop mission-aligned education programming for the Little NxJumpers programs: After-School Program and Summer Camp

  • design, build and implement a world-class model curriculum for our programs

  • supervise and well communicate with a team of part-time teachers, outside vendors as well as full-time Next Jump employees

  • build strong relationships and communicate regularly with parents about student progress and areas for improvement and solicit feedback from them

  • build strong relationships with students as well as instruct students in the appropriate behaviors

  • oversee implementation of all tutoring and education class with particular focus on our mission, vision, and guiding principles

  • maintain a program that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs of the individual child and the group

  • ensure that staff records the behavior and progress of each child and utilizing these with staff for program planning

  • ensure program outcomes are measured, analyzed and used to continually improve program delivery, staff performance, and student progress

  • ability to teach one k-8 course if needed (Reading, Math, Chinese preferred)

  • other responsibilities as assigned
