Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the below:
To serve water and beverages, and to maintain water and beverage service throughout the course of service.
To enter guests orders into Micros.
To prepare the table for each course.
To monitor the timing and delivery of each course.
To coordinate and actively clear tables after each course when all guests have finished with the assistance of the busser.
To stay abreast of menu and wine list changes.
To maintain expert knowledge of the Wine and Beverage program, dessert menu, and dessert wine offerings
Remain aware of the station/section as a whole.
Anticipate guest’s needs, and actively communicate with management to provide an outstanding guest experience.
Manage the Support in providing water service and clearing tables.
Assist the Runners with food delivery according to service standards.
Assist guests with food and beverage selections as needed.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience with wine and beverage sales and service is a plus
Adheres to the philosophy of being “Guest-Centered” by responding to the guest requests with imagination, sincerity, and a willingness to please
Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication skills
Possess outstanding food and beverage product knowledge
Basic math and computation skills are required
Must be able to maintain professionalism and composure in stressful and high pressure situations
Ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of POS systems
Ability to have a flexible schedule and be able to work on nights, weekends, and or holidays
