About this opportunity...
The College Recruiter is responsible for supporting Ross Stores' growth plans by attracting and recruiting Intern talent across multiple functions for the Buying Offices. In partnership with the College Relations team, manage full life cycle recruitment at targeted schools, and plan and execute a best in class Internship program. Support Early Career Recruiters by branding and recruiting entry-level talent. Ensure a high quality and high touch candidate experience to enhance Ross' image on campus and in the retail industry.
The base salary range for this role is $64,000 - $80,000. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
What you will do and what you will learn...
- Manage full life cycle recruitment for Interns across multiple functions at assigned schools, including posting jobs, building the talent pipeline, screening, interviews, offers and placements
- Partner with targeted universities and other relevant intern sources (including virtual sites) to attract, engage and hire top Intern talent and build the Ross brand on campus: attend career fairs, present to student groups and retail classes
- Participate in professional development activities in support of attracting talent and differentiating Ross as an employer of choice
- Develop collateral for all events and secure partners from the Business to attend
- Identify new and innovative ways to source and attract intern talent.
- Facilitate "Intern Panel Days" by presenting candidates during second round interviews and debriefing with the Business to conclude the day.
- Support Coordinator by scheduling interviews, when necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with career services, professors and business stakeholders at Ross Stores
- Assist in development and execution of Summer Intern Program to ensure a best in class learning and professional experience; continuously research and introduce new and exciting elements to enhance the Intern Program and experience for the interns and the business
- Update the recruitment database and Candidate Tracker with candidate information on an ongoing basis to ensure accurate and up to date information is available
- Evaluate success of target school selection by analyzing offer and conversion rates; make recommendations based off this analysis to support a diverse and talented Intern population.

- Bachelor's Degree required and a minimum of two years related professional experience
- Ability to travel up to 35% annually
