The Walt Disney Company Commerce Operations Coordinator in New York, New York

Job Summary:

  • Work with Commerce Operations Manager and cross functionally to ensure successful launches for Disney+, ESPN+ and Star+. Projects will include new territory launches, supporting the release of new Commerce-related features, UFC PPV fights, product price increases, MLB.TV seasonal support, partnership support, process improvement and maintenance of source of truth documentation.

  • This person will work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Commerce, Customer Service, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Enterprise Consumer Payments and Product teams

  • The role will also require global collaboration across regional and commercial teams to support the global expansion of Disney Streaming products and related global remit of the Commerce Ops team

  • The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy and ability to concurrently manage multiple workstreams and projects

Responsibilities:

  • Create new and maintain existing SKUs and paywalls for Disney+, ESPN+ and Star+ across territories globally. Including but not limited to:

  • Product type (monthly vs. annual, special access, PPV, etc.)

  • Per platform (Web, Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku)

  • Configure SKUs and relevant offers for external billing integrated B2B2C partners

  • Assist in maintaining all relevant documentation shared as the source of truth across the business and relevant stakeholders. This documentation can include but is not limited to:

  • JIRA tickets

  • SKU and Paywall Tracker across all territories, platforms and product types globally

  • Financial Trackers with relevant payment processing details

  • Confluence Wiki for source-of-truth pricing, currency and platform support

  • Operational support for launches of new territories or product features, which may be outside of business hours

  • Attend meetings with Commerce Ops lead to strategize, gather requirements and troubleshoot all involved projects

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years work experience

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communications skills

  • High proficiency in Google Office Suite, particularly Google Slides. Highly adept at creating professional visualizations of data, processes and information

  • Proficient with project management software such as Atlassian JIRA, Confluence and Airtable

  • Ability to work internationally across time zones and regions, with a mindset towards global scalability

  • Highly effective oral and written communication and problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships

  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and a global network of internal and external partners

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment, supporting new products and businesses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Digital subscription business and/or entertainment industry experience a plus

  • Commerce or payment-related experience preferred but not required

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
