Business Services provides centralized capabilities to Consumer and Small Business Banking Technology (CSBBT). This team is accountable for the operational execution of activities supporting each of the lines within the organization. The team partners with teams across Enterprise Information Technology (EIT,) Corporate Finance, Risk, HR, and Corporate Properties Group (CPG) to support the organizational needs related to our people, processes and business systems.

The Consumer and Small Business Banking Technology - Business Services team is looking for a seasoned, highly skilled Tech Business Services Sr Associate to perform Communications Lead activity, deliver timely, effective, and efficient business solutions to enable our 4,000+ team member workforce.

The Communications Lead will work closely with Chief of Staff and Senior Leadership team and be responsible for the development and execution of the organizational communication strategy and enablement of CSBBT communications channels outside of the scope of the Corporate Communications function. In this role, you will consult with business unit leaders/executives to interpret, translate and apply line of business strategy to all levels via business-wide or external communications; in addition to, presenting to executive management on business performance and recommending strategies to implement changes and improvements.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve as an internal communications strategy owner

  • Serve as liaison between staff, executives, and senior leaders, regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications

  • Execution of org-wide internal communications, executive reporting

  • Design and support of microsites using SharePoint

  • Support of Executive Reporting routines

  • Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Executive level presentations

  • Facilitate Executive Staff Meetings

  • Operational Metrics and Reporting

  • Liaise with Corp Communications, HR, and other business partners

  • Coordination of key organizational routines- All-Hands, Manager Meetings, etc.

  • Execution of internal communications - training, business continuity, HR updates, etc.

This position will be located at our Wells Fargo site location at 300 S. Brevard St, Charlotte NC.

Prospective candidates should reside in and/or around the target site location or be able to commute to this site for work.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technology experience

  • 3 + years of experience writing and editing internal communications and training-related materials in a corporate environment

  • 3+ years of client service or related business experience

  • 3+ years of communications and media experience

  • 3 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following: strategic planning, initiative management or project management

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple medium technology development efforts within a major line of business

  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing medium technology development efforts within a major line of business

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications

  • 3+ years of SharePoint experience

  • Previous experience consulting with business partners on the design and development of SharePoint sites

  • Experience developing organization charts would be ideal

  • Previous understanding of Technology lines of business - issues, tracking, resolution is helpful

  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills

  • Marketing and journalism experience
