Oversee day to day operations in Conference Center & act as on site point person to client.
Scheduling & support to on site team members.
Liaise directly with Director of Reception Services to ensure smooth operation that meets Platinum Service standards.
Handling meeting room bookings, utilizing the reservation system (EMS) and focusing on the strategic assignment of meeting space so as to maximize utilization.
Sending initial confirmations in connection with bookings and following up at specified intervals prior to the event to confirm the current status of the meeting, the accuracy of participant counts, the need for special equipment, etc.
Coordinating a wide range of services for meetings which have been booked, including Audio
Visual requirements, food and beverage requests, conference room set-ups, signage, distribution of materials, etc.
Conferring with clients before, during and after their events, maintaining a positive relationship and responding to inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
Communicating to all relevant internal departments and subcontractors the specific needs of the client, both in advance of and during the course of meetings.
Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual KPI's.
Capacity to take on additional duties as assigned; Additional adjustments or responsibilities may be changed or added as necessary.
Four year college degree preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Two years of planning experience in hospitality industry
Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in our business
Keep abreast of industry trends and share information with staff
Exceptional customer service abilities
