The Global Real Estate Services team manages all Real Estate related functions for an 80MM RSF complex, international portfolio.
The Construction Project Management Executive is responsible for process oversight and controls of the end to end processes for construction project management in partnership with the Bank’s facility partners. He/She is responsible for verifying, modifying, or creating the appropriate processes and controls (Financial and otherwise) for all GRES capital projects
Oversight of capital project execution in support of strategies to optimize LOB footprint through contraction, consolidation or growth
Oversight of capital project execution in support of transition into modernized work spaces, providing agility and flexibility
Oversight of capital project delivery in support of Retail and Wealth real estate strategies
Enhancement of reporting and metrics to drive process adherence, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Integrate and partner with GRES Portfolio Management Team and facility partners in support of capital project delivery. Works to refine and enhance capital program structures and accountabilities to improvement quality, consistency and financial efficiencies. Provides consultation and analysis of GRES capital program to drive cost reductions across all asset classes.
Significant leadership experience managing large capital programs in a Real Estate Environment
Leadership experience and working knowledge of construction contracts, pricing and management.
Professional executive presence; decisive with highly versatile interpersonal skills
Ability to shift gears quickly between strategic and tactical issues and challenges.
Strong ability to engage and influence senior executives, establish and maintain collaborative partnerships and provide thought leadership to the capital program
Superb relationship management and communication skills that include excellent listening and presentation skills; know how to raise difficult issues and rigorously and credibly debate with senior leaders taking a balanced fact based approach
Strong team leadership skills; an individual who can lead a diverse associate population, inspire a strong sense of camaraderie, accountability and motivate continuous improvements to performance.
Able to lead change and integrate work in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed environment, establish priorities and achieve results
Must have significant experience within a financial services institution specifically in a real estate capacity.
BS/BA degree or higher
Core understanding of Commercial Real Estate fundamentals with complex and large scale project management experience.
Strong financial acumen and financial management experience
Able to communicate at the senior-most levels in both written and oral form
Able to work in a fast paced and complex global organization
Strong internal and external conflict resolution skill set
A strong understanding of corporate culture inclusive of the impacts of real estate on operational, reputational and regulatory risk
Seasoned professional with ability to effectively communicate with and influence executive leadership across multiple business lines
Comfortable self-solving problems and issues; is highly self-directed
Demonstrates a business perspective to the work of the group; brings a point of view to these discussions; quickly establishes effective partnerships
