Adviser Compliance Associates LLC Consultant in New York, New York

The Opportunity:

The role of Consultant in ACA's Performance Services division is responsible for assisting with the completion of periodic verifications of a client's capacity to claim compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS.) This position is essential to service and delivery and upholding ACA's high-quality standards and customer service focus.

ACA Performance Services provides GIPS standards verification and consulting services to investment managers around the globe. Our team - comprised of more than 60 professionals with extensive GIPS standards and performance experience - is the largest group of professionals in the world solely dedicated to GIPS standards verification and related services.

What you'll do:

Execute all verification and other engagement procedures from start to finish

Research, interpret, and apply GIPS guidance to determine applicability within each client's framework and investment structure

Participate in verbal and written communications with clients and proactively alert team members to situations that need support during the engagement

Monitor and meet target completion dates to ensure client expectations are met

Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives

To qualify for the role you must have:

Bachelor's Degree required - major or concentration in business, accounting, finance, or economics preferred

Two (2) years of previous work experience in investment management, accounting or financial services

Ideally, you'll also have:

Experience in areas such as: (i) knowledge of the requirements and recommendations of CFA Institute's GIPS standards (ii) understanding of policies and procedures for establishing and maintaining GIPS compliance (iii) providing GIPS and/or performance consulting services that assist with the maintenance of compliance or (iV) other experience with investment performance measurement.
