Job Description:

Assist the Special Events Group, along with general administrative aspects for the group.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and submit department invoices; retrieve payments from accounts payable and send out to all vendors

  • Oversee Sales ticket allotment on a daily basis to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert; Monitor schedule, guest confirmation letters and daily attendance list to show

  • Assist on various event logistics - collaterals, hotel rooming lists, transportation, seating, hotel billing, websites, attendee lists, etc.

  • Reconcile monthly billing for departmental purchasing card & corporate meeting card

  • Other duties include, but not limited to: shipping for events, office supplies and general office duties

  • Some travel required for certain events


Required Skills:

  • Ability to work under deadlines without supervision

  • Interface with CBS Executives

  • College graduate

  • Prior work experience in corporate environment

  • Strong finance understanding

  • Excellent organization and communication skills

  • Excellent computer skills; Excel required
