This internship provides an opportunity to work with the Corporate Communications & Marketing team to support internal departments and clients. Primary responsibilities include projects related to Marketing Communications.
Support the Marketing and Communications strategy by authoring editorial and product-related (byline) columns for Look Up blog and other publications
Illustrate the power and creativity of airport advertising by authoring news releases and conceptualizing story pitches for new airport media innovations, campaigns and concession wins
Live our value of Community by identifying and working with CSR-aligned non-profit organizations and using our media in ways that inspire action in the communities we serve
Executes and shares corporate-approved content across various social channels
Contributes to an executive positioning strategy by identifying emerging event opportunities aligned with sales verticals and presenting opportunities to SVP for approval
Provides logistical support for industry and client event planning
Participates and contributes to ideation sessions to maximize earned media opportunities for client campaigns
Attends inter-related local events and business meetings
Assists on other projects and tasks as assigned
4-year college degree in progress. Open to students starting their senior year.
- Interest in business-to-business sales or pursuing a marketing / sales / advertising degree
Strong organizational / time management skills; detailed oriented.
Collaborative and professional style with the objective of building strong relationships with diverse customer groups and vendors that generate sales.
Self-starter with a diligent work ethic and demonstrated flexibility.
Able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills including delivering effective presentations.
Able to complete required math calculations (e.g., multiply, divide, rate, ratio, percent, produce / interpret bar graphs).
Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and social media platforms.

Internship length varies – 10-12 weeks for Summer; temporary role.
