Situation Group Creative Strategist in New York, New York

Situation, a digital-first agency building passionate communities for live experience-based clients, seeks a Creative Strategist with 2-4 years of experience to join our Creative Team, bringing new energy, ideas, and perspectives to our exciting work.

What You'll Do

The Creative Strategist plays a crucial role in supporting the digital strategy for our arts and entertainment clients. They will assist, and at times lead, the creative planning and ideation process for their clients to ensure our digital executions meet client goals. Creative Strategists are comfortable with a variety of digital tactics and will work with their respective client teams to strategize innovative methods across multiple creative canvases. The right candidate has a passion for digital media and creative storytelling with strong collaboration skills that will allow them to thoughtfully synthesize and move ideas forward.

Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Creative Directors to shape and refine creative strategy for clients.

  • Contribute to strategic plans, monthly content calendars, ad-hoc campaigns, etc. ensuring that learnings, current trends, and industry best practices are applied while maintaining brand quality.

  • Collaborate with Client Services team counterparts to identify new creative opportunities and strategies to solve challenges and meet objectives.

  • Collaborate with Paid Media and Social team counterparts to strategize various canvases and media placements ensure organic and paid media efforts are in sync.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a creative strategy or digital marketing role; agency experience is a plus.

  • Proven success translating marketing goals and objectives into successful campaigns utilizing a variety of digital tactics and creative canvases (email, social media, paid media, content, website, etc.)

  • Comfort exploring new or current platforms and technologies in an effort to identify effective client use cases

  • Should be willing to work in-person at our New York City office

  • Strong communication skills including but not limited to, written and verbal communication

  • Ability to shift priorities and problem-solve in a timely manner

  • Positive attitude and collaborative mindset

  • A passion for live events, entertainment, and/or the arts
