The Customer Director (CD) is responsible for managing Point B Inc.’s success and impact at one or two strategic clients. The CD partners with the Customer Executive and is responsible for growing revenue and profitability with a team of Point B consultants, industry and service experts, and others to ensure quality client service delivery.

The CD will bring client, strategic, industry, and operational skills to a critical customer. The CD is a leader in the industry of their customer, brings Director and C-suite relationships, and is an advisor to senior leaders about trends, challenges, and business opportunities. The CD internalizes, upholds and models Point B’s leadership and culture tenets internally and externally. The CD will have developed and/or led a large client relationship across multiple consulting service lines, and grown a significant business and run it to the scale of $5-10+m annual revenue.


Help develop, broaden and deepen Point B’s partnership with the customer

Share the customer’s strategic challenges and opportunities across Point B’s businesses, to co-create engagements and potential offerings

Provide value to the customer by leveraging Point B’s integrated set of businesses to customer solutions

Maintain deep industry perspective and utilize that perspective to drive customer’s thinking and strategies

Grow revenue and profitability

Identify and sell opportunities across Point B’s integrated set of businesses

Build strong client executive relationships

Partner with a seasoned Customer Executive as you develop one or two strategic clients

Existing relationships at a Point B, Inc strategic customer/target, with a focus on Director and SVP relationships or higher

Proven ability to design and sell solution-oriented engagements, including developing pricing models

Profit/loss responsibility for a large customer

Strong business community relationships specific to a Point B, Inc strategic customer/target

Demonstrated leadership in one of Point B, Inc’s services

Solid working knowledge of budgeting and strategic planning

Provided expertise and strategic insight to solving complex business problems, transformational initiatives and executive leadership

Worked as an effective leader across multiple industries and business areas

Earned a B.A. or B.S. degree, MBA encouraged

10+ years of relevant business experience; 5+ consulting experience and 8+ within the related industry
