Customer Service Associate

Duration: Contract until end of 2022 (Seasonal) – potential to get extended or converted for top performers

Schedule: Open Availability; will be assigned an 8-9 hr shift between 9AM-9PM; 4 day work week (Weekend availability is a must)

MUST have full weekend availability, and at least three days of weekday availability. The store hours are from 10 to 8, so the shifts range between 10 o'clock and 9 o'clock.

• Typically, a 4-day week work schedule. 8/9 hours shifts – average hours are 30-40 hours/week

Rate: $16.50

Job Overview:

• Provide customer service to customers at the Nintendo World Store in New York City

• Assist customers in purchase of Nintendo branded merchandise and products

• Provide customers with product information and demonstrations

• Cross-sell and up-sell merchandise; recommend products to meet customers?

• Perform cash register and merchandise restock duties

Qualifications:

• Must be available to work weekends and any 8hr shift between 9AM-9PM

• At least one year of customer service experience in a retail environment

• Experience in a video gaming or electronics environment is strongly preferred

• At least a high school diploma or GED is required

• Working knowledge of video gaming products and/or services

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and represent the company at a public level

• Ability to lift heavy objects or do continuous lifting while adhering to proper lifting techniques and ladder usage

• Ability to perform routine display repair and maintenance

Additional Information:

• This is a seasonal, contract position.

• Candidates need to be comfortable with a seasonal position, but also should be aware that "Top Performers" are recognized and can be brought on direct.
