Related Partners Customer Service Team Project Manager in New York, New York

The Provisional Site Team Project Manager is responsible for supporting the operations of Related’s Luxury Portfolio in New York City. Their primary function will be to ensure the success of the Concierge & Maintenance Staff Floater Pool.

The Floater Pool is made up of 30 concierge and maintenance staff whom support the Related Luxury Residential Portfolio in New York City. The float pool staff cover all vacation, sick, and leave shifts and are therefore involved in execution of building operations including resident visitor greeting, package delivery, and accessing control procedures.

These individuals play a critical role in maintaining Related’s high standards of resident experience and employee satisfaction; therefore, the management of this group is critical to enduring successful operations.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide overall management of Floating Concierge and Maintenance union employees

  • Dispatch workforce according to the needs of each building

  • Evaluate the processes surrounding the floater pool and implement ongoing improvements

  • Analyze real-time work shift trends and adjust staffing as needed

  • Assess floater pool size, manage workload needs, and make recommendations and changes as needed

  • Partner with General Managers, Resident Managers, and Regional Managers to ensure staffing needs are covered

  • Maintain schedule flexibility and anticipate shift changes ensuring all shifts are covered

  • Coordinate appropriate time card allocations weekly to ensure correct site is being billed

  • Review, approve, and sign timecards on weekly basis in compliance with Related’s timekeeping policies

  • Complete employee performance appraisals; including 60-day reviews for newly hired floater employees

  • Terminate poor/underperforming float staff per applicable evaluation process and termination policies.

  • Work with the Talent team to interview candidates and provide hiring recommendations; also have a strong understanding of the floating talent pool strengths and weaknesses

  • Work with the HR team on employee relations; including disciplinary procedures and terminations

  • Schedule and support floater pool training as required

  • Communicate pertinent program updates

  • Participate in other (non-Floater Pool) operations special projects as required

  • In conjunction with Payroll allocation group rectify any discrepancies for float pool billing between properties

  • Billing verification and submission for Union benefit and Union Dues Payments

  • Provide periodic reports regarding staffing levels, usage, assignments

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of two to five (2-5) years of related experience

  • Experience providing immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules

  • Hospitality or luxury brand experience highly preferred

  • Must be willing to work some weekends as needed

  • Experience managing and/or scheduling seasonal staff preferred

  • Knowledge of Deputy scheduling software or other workforce schedule system (preferred but not required)
