Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform Consultants participate in enterprise solution implementations, including all project phases such as discovery, definition, build, test and deploy. After our sales team wins a project, you'll become an integral part of the delivery team to ensure the solutions built for our clients meet their needs to help drive their success.
Your key responsibilities
You will focus on the evaluation, design, customization and optimization of Power Platform-based solutions. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our client’s digital vision and strategy to life.
You'll work with the client to define their requirements and then you'll design and participate in the system architecture process. Once that's complete, you'll implement most of their customizations yourself using the Microsoft’s web-based customization tools. You won't need to program any custom code or configure the client's network, you will have a team to support those needs if they arise, but you will need to understand how those related technologies work.
Skills and attributes for success
Designs the solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics Field Service and Power Platform solutions customized to meet the identified customer business needs.
Utilizes knowledge of Microsoft solutions to accurately estimate the effort required to deploy a customized solution.
Leads client discussions to review possible solutions to the business requirements presented
Coordinates across multidisciplinary teams and collaborates with functional analysts, architects, and developers, communicating what is required
Monitors the progress and quality of the project.
Dynamics 365 Field Service - previous experience of implementing solutions. Experience with scheduling, resource schedule optimization, dispatching, mobile inventory management, ticketing, predictive maintenance, and technician management processes
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's Degree in Business Systems or related field (MBA a plus)
Successful candidates for this role typically have 10+ years of related work experience, and must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in system design or information system
Minimum of one-year experience (or 3+ projects) implementing Microsoft Dynamics Field Service and/or Power Platform technologies and have hands on experience with configuration and customizations. Hands on experience of customization of Schedule Board, Resource Schedule Optimization and Work Order Process configurations.
Deep understanding of with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Common Data Service/Field Service Entity Framework and familiarity of relational database concepts
Self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Excellent communication, leadership and client development skills
Microsoft certifications a plus, but not required
Up to 50% out-of-town travel required for this job
Ideally, you’ll also have
Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics desired; Master’s degree in one of these areas preferred
Microsoft Dynamics Certifications (MB-200 and MB240) and prior consulting experience highly preferred
Experience with Field Service Mobile configurations (Xamarin and Microsoft Field Service App)
