What you’ll do

As the Data & Analytics Engineer you will join our data and analytics team to drive our data warehouse, reporting, and analytics efforts across the organization. You will be the analytics business partner to the Sales and Marketing and Consumer Insights teams where you will own the end to end process of using data to solve business problems and drive results. This includes sourcing new data, managing the data warehouse, and the development of reporting tools to put data in the core of decision making. You will be the product owner for our Anaplan tool to drive adoption and business value through expansion of the tools usage across the company. Your ability to partner with cross functional groups to understand the business and develop solutions in an agile collaborative fashion will make you successful in this role. And this is how you’ll do it…

  • Own all aspects of the KIND data warehouse and serve as subject matter expert for data and reporting

  • Manage data ETL between key financial and transactional systems and data warehouse to support data needs across the organization

  • Understand business goals and to develop data strategies required to deliver on goals

  • Lead the organization in rollout of Anaplan and serve as the SME for new development and existing tool support

  • Collect requirements, design, and implement solutions to provide reliable, consistent and impactful data to the organization

  • Lead advanced analytics projects to enhance decision support and drive value from data

  • Maintain core datasets and provide support for metrics and data used throughout Sales, Marketing, and Consumer Insights

  • Manage multiple enhancement and development projects independently keeping stakeholders and management informed

  • Ensure data needs are met according to requirements and timelines

Required Experience:

You have…

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in an analytical capacity in CPG Marketing and Consumer Insights

  • 3+ years of experience as Anaplan developer and model builder

  • 4+ year as an analyst/engineer in a SQL Server environment

  • A degree (BS/MS+) in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics, Business, or related discipline

  • Experience in monitoring and automating in a SQL Server environment

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities quickly

  • Worked in a CPG, DTC, or manufacturing organization

  • Demonstrated expert level knowledge of SQL, SSIS, SSAS required

  • Demonstrated success working with ERP system, JD Edwards preferred
