Job Title: Data Analytics Manager – Multiple Positions

Approved Locations: 757 Third Ave., 9th Floor, New York, NY 10017. 10% travel to various unanticipated client sites. May work remotely.

Salary: $145,000 - $155,000 per year

Job Description:

As the Data Analytics Manager, you’ll supervise and oversee all aspects of engagements throughout the transaction process, and coordinate the work performed by multiple service lines.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Serve as the day-to-day point person on engagements; lead meetings and calls with clients and target management.

  • Guide teams through complexities of accounting related analyses, financial data, and associated reconciliations between financial data sets.

  • Consolidate and synthesize data into actionable visualizations, focused on insights relevant to financial due diligence and the transaction thesis.

  • Provide observations into behavior, trends, financials and business operations through data analysis and the development of business intelligence visuals.

  • Develop dashboards and clearly articulate the insights reflected.

  • Utilize advanced business intelligence tools including complex calculations, table calculations, mapping, data blending and optimization of data extracts.

  • Manage client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines and lead change efforts effectively.

  • Work closely with teams to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues.

  • Develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships to provide maximum value to our clients through the delivery of our full solution.

  • Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls.

  • Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).

  • Supervise 4 Senior Associates, 3 Associates, and 2 Interns.

You have the following technical skills and qualifications:

  • Requirement - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field, or the foreign degree equivalent, and 5 years of progressively more responsible experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Auditor, or an alternate related acceptable occupation.

  • Relevant experience - Work or academic experience must have included: CPA certification; Tableau or PowerBI certification; SQL or Alteryx data cleansing software; accounting and financial data interpretation and analytical skills, such as financial statements interpretation skills, comprehending accounting law, GAAP, and recording new process; data quality assurance skills to assess data quality, perform data profiling, and data cleansing to ensure data accuracy and reliability; data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) process automation skills; transaction and due diligence-related data exploration, finding insights, and constructing storytelling skills; and performing A/B testing methodologies to assess the impact of changes and improvements.

  • 10% travel to various unanticipated client sites. May work remotely.
