Designer: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Ensure that all seasonal product and core business needs are addressed and incorporated into the seasonal collections

  • Manage tee category supporting full Design Team + Contributors

  • Manage all product concepts for Tees Category

  • Responsible for ensuring all Design & Developmental needs adhere to Production timelines and requirements

  • Maintain seasonal organization of sketches, specs, print, and tech packs

  • Receive direction from senior designers during sample reviews and fittings, take notes and ensure they are captured and communicated/detailed within tech packs

  • Ensure that product is consistent while maintaining the brand identity and organization strategy

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of color direction, and complete colorways of styles as needed

  • Follow through with Product Development team on tech packs built as well as communicate all product comments if/when necessary

  • Ensure that all projects are met within tight deadlines

Years of Related Professional Experience: 8+ years

Educational/ Position Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Ability to interact and communicate well with all levels within organization

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proactive/ Self Motivated / Efficient

  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Must have knowledge of garment construction, menswear preferred but not required

  • Strong time management and ability to multitask
