Desktop Support Technician (Tiers 1 & 2)

Your responsibilities as Desktop Support Technician (Tiers 1 & 2)
Perform basic routine system administrative tasks.
Maintain documentation on the Help Desk ticket system.
Troubleshoot and resolve desktop & laptop hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
Respond to telephone calls, emails and personnel requests for technical support and provides either remote (screen sharing) or in-person support as required.
Help Desk support on all firsthand inquiries such as telephone, software, hardware, etc., include but not limited to trouble shooting hardware/software equipment problems, set up, install, configure, maintain, and /or repair a variety of electronic computing and communication equipment. Expect to resolve less complex problems immediately while working with other teammates to resolve more complex problems.
Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
Perform computer software installations/upgrades.
Other duties, as assigned.
Qualified candidates must have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years corporate experience required.
2+ years' technical support / Help Desk experience.
Experience in set up, configuration, troubleshooting PC's, peripheral devises, and a variety of office equipment.
Experience in Windows operating systems and MS Office productivity software. Knowledge of network and internet environments.
Basic to intermediate Active Directory / User admin experience.
Excellent troubleshooting logic and techniques.
Self-motivated, excellent communication and organization skills.
Candidates with the following skills will be preferred:
Remote support and troubleshooting using:
Manage Engine - Desktop Central
M365 / Office 365 Admin and familiarity
SharePoint / OneDrive experience
Jira Service Management Helpdesk Ticketing
