DevOps Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps (Development and Operations) professional to join our growing organization. In this position, you will join the team that manages our cloud-based CI/CD pipeline in support of our commercial SaaS products. This is an exciting and engaging role where you will gain exposure to our complete product line-up used to solve real-time, data-entry, ETL/ELT, reporting, and API needs. Our organization has a strong commitment to automation, modern tools, and processes that accelerate our engineering staff’s ability to deliver value to our clients. Keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a solid knowledge base are essential.

Requirements

 DevOps Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle code deployments in all environments

  • Work directly with the Development teams to manage build pipelines

  • Work directly with Implementation and Support teams to manage deployment pipelines

  • Work directly with our Cloud Engineering team to build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning

  • Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management

  • Test implemented designs

  • Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve

  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations

  • Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery

  • Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages

  • Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards

  • Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects

  • Manage CI and CD tools

  • Document and design various processes; update existing processes

  • Improve infrastructure development and application development

  • Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the comp

DevOps Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, software engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 4-5 years’ previous experience in DevOps

  • Experience with Team City/Octopus and/or Azure DevOps to deploy SPA web applications (Angular, VueJS, React) and Microsoft stack (C#, Sql Server)

  • Previous experience with software development or infrastructure development

  • Preferred: Experience provisioning and deploying Azure PaaS and serverless technologies

  • Up-to-date on the latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently

  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
