Reviewsfull brand calendar of activities for each retailer to ensure support acrosspriority categories in both new innovation and commercialization; ensureactivities will support sales goals
Providesguidance to planners to negotiates seasonal stock & sales plans with inputfrom Account & Sales Planning
Developpromotional calendar for total North America each seasonacross Holiday, Skincare Giveaway, promotional sets, mailers and ConsumerOutreach Programs.
Providefeedback to North America Marketing on Brand Category Strategy
Primaryowner/manager of advertising spend for account and in-store visual budget forvisual weeks; works closely with Trade Marketing to project manage execution;may manage other key parts of the marketing budget based on guidance from ExecutiveDirector.
Ensuresstrong visual presence in store, in local market and on retailer.com (e.g.,outposts, out-of-home ads, merchandising); gain market share and rank throughproduct distortion/in store activity
Worksextremely closely with Trade Marketing and Account & Sales Planning toensure strong business decisions on marketing, assortment, allocations,sampling, sets, exclusives and gifts tailored to retailers’ customers
Providerecommendations to brand on marketing/merchandising opportunities, competitivelandscape, consumer demographics and localization opportunities to create pointsof difference across accounts
- Facilitate Planner development of Seasonal Account plans through
helping to implement the following along with guidance from Sales Planning and
Launch, Holiday, Sets andretailer exclusives
Sales plans for key salesevents
Door closing / openingsestimates
Supports Account Management team to manage P&Litems, may provide input or analysis to maximize ROI and sales
Provide guidance to the planners in the developmentof seasonal stock and sales plans.
Ensure that best decisions are made with regards toconstruction
With finance, reviews door P&Ls seasonally (preparedby finance) to analyze outliers/ensure more profitable & productive doors
Manage corporate demonstration strategies, producemonthly demo reports for field that monitor productivity/effectiveness (e.g.,hour utilization, open positions, BA productivity.)
May develops reporting and analyses to supportsales, pilots and other special events.
Mustpossess strong collaboration and influencing skills in order to translatestrategic objectives into sales-driving action
Strategicthinker and able to lay out a cohesive and clearly articulated strategy todrive the brand
Extensivebusiness skill and financial ability (i.e., P&L management, businessdrivers, building new channels/growth, savvy with standard business analyses)and analytical thinking
Solidunderstanding of primary levers and components to a successful accountmanagement
Position requires 8 years of related experiencewith proven success
BA required, MBA preferred
Excellent leader and relationshipbuilder
Strong negotiation, interpersonaland communication skills.
Must be a team player and aself-starter adept at problem solving
Extensive business experience and superioranalytical skills with sound business and financial judgment
