The Team - Accounting Advisory Our team is comprised of a powerful mix of seasoned professionals with public accounting experience and business consultants with a deep expertise in a broad range of industries. We take a comprehensive approach to helping clients navigate through the IPO process, M&A lifecycle support, and leverage our own Technical Accounting Solution Center to address critical financial reporting and technical accounting issues for clients. Your Impact Advise fast-growing companies and well-known enterprises (both publicly traded and privately held) on a wide variety of projects including: IPO preparation, transaction support, carve-outs and/or spin-offs, audit readiness, and new accounting pronouncements. Engage with clients and colleagues on technical accounting and control-related issues to provide research guidance and give recommendations for potential solutions. Create and deliver presentations on technical concepts, project work plans, delivery approach, milestones, and results to client stakeholders. Review team progress to ensure compliance with work program and professional standards. Educate internal and external audiences on Accounting Advisory best practices. Identify, design and implement creative business solutions to continually improve the firm's methodology and approach. Establish credibility as a trusted advisor. Serve as a member of our leadership team by playing a key role in growing our business, developing new service offerings, mentoring junior staff, building teams and delivering outstanding client service. Manage client relationships with an eye toward identifying and closing on new business opportunities. Actively participate in career development activities and technical training of staff. Your Experience Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 10+ years of professional services experience (public accounting or advisory firm) and/or financial reporting experience with a Fortune 500 organization. Must hold an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Strong knowledge of SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP. Demonstrated knowledge of accounting/audit practices, procedures and reporting standards. Demonstrated track record achieving business development targets by growing existing accounts and penetrating new accounts. Willingness to travel up to 50% or more. Market facing individual with an ability to tap into their own respective network to source potential client opportunities. Easily integrate oneself into the New York office with the ability to attend firm-sponsored events to continue to grow your network. Preferred Qualifications Masters in Accounting, MBA, CPA, CIA. Knowledge of Tier 1 accounting packages (i.e. Oracle/NetSuite, SAP, PeopleSoft). Proven ability to lead, motivate and build teams that deliver services and solutions that surpass client expectations. Previous experience leading and executing complex projects in challenging environments. Familiarity with Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and Private Equity and the ability to support FDD engagements. Ability to tap into their network to help identify quality resources to bring/help grow the New York practice. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at MorganFranklin Consulting depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, MorganFranklin believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure to be between $149,566 and $312,459. The individual may also be eligible for a variety of bonus and financial incentives based on individual and company performance.
