What You Will Do:

L’Oréal is in search of an Amazon expert and data driven decision maker to accelerate its growing retail business. This role will provide thought leadership and direction to brands on all aspects of Amazon's retail ecosystem; effectively managing commercial projects, supporting capability vendors and best-in- class strategies for L’Oréal USA. This role will also drive ongoing strategic customer workstreams at an enterprise level in the areas of Sales, Marketing/Merchandising, Sustainability, Operations and more. The Ideal candidate has CPG experience managing a commercial business or leading strategy for large eCommerce/Pureplay businesses, with a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed across operations and go-to-market retail strategy. This role requires excellent cross-functional relationship management and the ability to understand and prioritize multiple business challenges/opportunities at a time. This is also a highly visible role to senior levels of the organization and will require strong presentation and communication skills.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Defining what it takes to win on Amazon in partnership with key business partners

  • Builds insights to uncover opportunities and turn them into actions to maximize channel performance.

  • Coordinates internal forums to build plans, create transparency, accelerate execution, gather knowledge and support effective market negotiations.

  • Raises overall Amazon knowledge by building and working within a global community of digital and commercial experts.

  • Gathers and synthesizes Amazon business needs and aligns sucess requirements across internal/external stakeholders, business units, brands and senior leadership.

  • Manages and tracks strategic customer facing workstreams to unlock enterprise growth opportunities with Amazon.

  • Maximize business opportunities and go to Market programs (ie. Events, Prime Day) cross-division execution and presentation creation.

  • Contributes to change management, education and thought leadership across multiple business groups.

  • Supports existing OneAmazon Community engagement/enablement

  • Support our existing OneAmazon Community engagement/enablement

  • Project management of key transversal customer initiatives including:

  • Owning sustainability partnership on amazon portfolio.

  • Supply Chain liaison to track progress/accountability.

  • Connecting commercial priorities to enterprise advertising relationship.

  • Product Content: document success stories in competitive landscape validated by Profitero/Amazon Tech / archive of best practices sharing.

  • Key pain point story building like andon cord summary etc.

  • Assist in the development and syndication of best practice playbooks

    Job Dimensions: Business Value Creation

    What We Are Looking For:

  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience managing business-to-consumer eCommerce execution and or analytics & strategy management for the same.

  • Bachelor’s degree and interest in the beauty industry

  • Strong eCommerce CPG/Retail background and thorough understanding of how to answer business questions/challenges through data with clear sense of the value added.

  • Demonstrated experience managing a customer P&L and successfully building promotional plans

  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication/presentation skills; ability to influence at the most senior levels

  • Strong bias for action and seeing things through to completion and business application.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a rigorous timeline.

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Passion for fast moving transformation roles; passion for making concrete business impacts

  • Demonstrated experience with running complex projects across a matrixed organization

  • Budget management, project management, vendor management

  • Salary Range: $140,100 – $172,720 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
