Job Overview:

Develop and implement brand marketing communication strategy, campaigns, PR and organic social to drive brand awareness and retention. Responsible to drive leads funnel, member retention and ensure consistent and compelling brand voice & message.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall planning, impact and effective alignment of brand-related areas (brand positioning, brand values, brand messaging, brand communications) to drive an overall awareness, affinity and cohesive message.

  • Lead end-to-end management of campaigns and projects from conception to creative briefs, planning, execution and reporting.

  • Partner with Director of Growth Marketing to measure the success of campaigns and projects.

  • Own marketing calendar to ensure cohesive planning across functions and communicate out regularly.

  • Ensure alignment and collaborate with cross-department stakeholders (marketing organization and non-marketing functions) to drive a consistent brand standards and compelling brand message to target consumers.

  • Lead PR including strategy, agency partnerships, National and local press.

  • Lead organic social media strategy including engaging brand influencers, organic brand strategy and community management.

  • Develop seasonal and monthly marketing and brand strategies targeting existing members to drive retention and ancillary revenue.

  • Partner with Tech Product team(s) leading our go-to-market strategy, planning, and marketing POV targeting Members for new products, new feature launches, and new content verticals.

  • Liaise with Field Marketing to support local marketing strategies and tool kits.

  • Lead vendor strategy and strategic relationships with all Creative & PR agencies.

  • Evaluate and refine overall priorities of the teams and budgets under direct management to drive the highest possible impact on the overall business (leads, sales, retention).

  • Implements marketing best practices and test new marketing methods and strategies for driving sales.

  • Stay on top of brand marketing trends and campaigns inside and outside of the immediate competitive circle.

  • Develop and motivate your team to be a results driven, agile, talented, future-thinking and inspired as a requisite part of being a growing, leading health and wellness company.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years integrated marketing experience in the consumer and/or lifestyle brand space, retail/DTC experience a plus.

  • Has worked closely with or led creative output.

  • Social media and PR experience.

  • Self-starter and has an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Collaborative and an excellent communicator.

  • Data-driven decision maker.

  • Resourceful and able to take a hands-on approach.

  • Ear to the ground when it comes to trends and design.

  • Track-record of leading brand management initiatives with business impact.

  • Ability to create structure and definition around complex business problems.

  • Skilled at influencing teams across the organization and building alignment.

  • Proven ability to deliver against expected outcomes leading complex, cross-organizational initiatives.

  • Experience working at hyper-growth, fast-paced organizations.

  • Strong organizational, planning, communicating and presenting/sharing skills is a must.
