Summary:

The Business Engineering and Partner Solutions team (BEPS) provides businesses with the solutions they need to face the tasks of today, as well as the expertise to engineer a path to the future. Depending on a business’ needs, BEPS will connect them with in-house engineers, recommend the right partners, or develop a customized combination of both. By integrating technology and partnerships in one team, BEPS can employ the right solution, empowering businesses to grow today and build for tomorrow.

BEPS is seeking an experienced leader to lead partnerships that drive client value across Facebook. You will lead and grow a high-performing partnership management and business development team to build a diverse ecosystem of partners for Facebook that drives value for clients.

Required Skills:

  1. Hire, lead and mentor a team of partnership management and business development professionals

  2. Build alliances with strategic partners by defining joint roadmaps, managing multiple top to top touch points, and maintaining partner health

  3. Represent Facebook in external meetings with seasoned executives

  4. Build strong working relationships with leaders across Facebook teams (e.g. sales, product, product marketing, engineering, business development, marketing, human resources sales planning/operations and finance)

  5. Evangelize partners internally and externally by delivering presentations at industry conferences and representing the business in front of internal teams, strategic partners and media

  6. Drive the Facebook Marketing Partner strategy in North America and LATAM identifying, managing and scaling key ecosystems and ecosystem partnerships

  7. Collaborate with partners and developers to ensure that the experiences we build together are the best possible for users, support our partners' goals and support Facebook's mission

  8. Provide management guidance on organizational effectiveness, change management and conflict resolution, as well as provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, recognition programs, and strategic development

  9. Lead executive-level internal briefings regarding strategic direction, progress reports, key decisions and escalations as appropriate

  10. Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 15+ years experience working in business development and strategic alliances

  2. BA/BS degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in partner management and business development, a track record of influencing change in organizations, and experience synthesizing and executing against problems and timelines

  2. Experience developing, negotiating and signing industry leading deals with market leaders to deliver value to the ecosystem

  3. Proven track record of building and scaling teams

  4. Quantitative and qualitative analytical experience coupled with knowledge of operating principles

  5. Project management leadership experience with experience leading multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects across a global cross-functional team

  6. Experience engaging with C-level of any partner organization

  7. Global work and team management experience

  8. MBA or MS Degree or equivalent experience
