Facebook Director, Compensation Business Partner in New York, New York

Summary:

Facebook is seeking a seasoned Compensation leader to lead a team of compensation Business partners & analysts to drive strategic compensation decisions and deliver innovative, competitive, and analytically driven compensation programs. This leader will be a key strategic partner for multiple Business leaders and HRBP’s including being responsible for driving Sales Compensation Strategy and governance in partnership with cross functional stakeholders. This full-time Director CBP role reports to the Head of Compensation Business Partner function.

Required Skills:

  1. Partner with Business leaders & HRBP’s to enable Business outcomes by way of influencing decisions aligned with Facebook’s Compensation Philosophy

  2. Bring thought leadership to Sales Incentive design & governance model in partnership with HR, Business, Legal, Finance and other stakeholders

  3. Lead with internal & market insights to drive compensation solutions with Business. This involves providing strong project leadership and a laser sharp focus on driving key outcomes

  4. In close partnership with Sales Ops team, co-own the Sales Incentive Compensation Committee agenda and drive decisions in an effective way

  5. Lead a team of compensation partners and analysts with a focus on strengthening strategic partnership across Business and HR

  6. Partner closely with Job framework core team to bring business insights and play a key role in driving change management with Business

  7. Be trusted advisor to business leaders and take accountability on compensation decisions and strategy - must be able to influence and drive decisions at Executive leadership levels

  8. Partner with Program Operations teams and other cross functional partners to drive consistency in compensation planning, program administration, performance summary cycles and comp program automation projects for designated business

  9. Lead direction on market analysis and job profile insights for new and existing roles in business

  10. As a member of compensation leadership team, be a thought leader, influencer and collaborator on a range of Compensation and Total Rewards topics

  11. Enhance Communication and effectiveness of our Comp programs including performance summary cycle, market review, job profile framework etc.

  12. Partner closely with recruiting organization to help Facebook hire the very best in a challenging market for technical talent

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS/MBA in Human Resources, Economics, Statistics or similar field

  2. 15+ years of experience including experience in leading and influencing key senior stakeholders

  3. 5+ years of people leadership experience

  4. Proven thought partnership and strategic influence including experience working with senior HRBP's, C-suite Business leaders and multiple cross functional stakeholder

  5. Demonstrated experience leading and motivating diverse teams

  6. Extensive experience in leading and managing Sales Compensation programs including design and governance

  7. Analytical, Consulting and project leadership experience

  8. Experiences in one or more of the following compensation disciplines: broad based compensation design, salary and incentive plan design and administration, sales compensation, international compensation, equity compensation, executive pay

  9. Experience with compensation analytics tools and benchmarking surveys

  10. Working knowledge of employment law and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Exposure to Compensation Practices in Tech industry and/or Fin tech space
