605 Director, Data Partnerships in New York, New York
605 is seeking a seasoned director to lead all facets of 605’s strategic data partnerships. In this role, the director will own the identification, evaluation, negotiation and on-going maintenance processes of every new and existing data vendor - key components to 605’s business success. This person will be charged with the development of the partnership’s foundations and business models while also paying keen attention to executional details such as data quality, SLAs, and use cases. Additionally, as a senior member of the Revenue team, the director will be asked to act as a subject matter expert in data-related strategy planning.
Provide thought leadership around data partner selection through an intimate understanding of the data marketplace. Develop and maintain awareness of data marketplace.
Manage identification, communication, and evaluation of potential data partners with key business and technical stakeholders from across the company.
Manage data partner life cycle from selection, negotiation, legal and facilitate transition to technical teams for implementation. Own ongoing relationships with data providers being responsible for renewals, exception approvals, pricing optimization and escalation.
Lead construction of business model frameworks for all data-related partnerships
Responsible for the negotiation process and contract management
In partnership with Product, Sales, and Account Management teams, create and manage a short- and long-term data partnership roadmap
Assist Account Management, Product and Data Ops in structuring data partnerships for client, product or project specific efforts
Comprehensive understanding of the players and processes of the TV/OTT/Digital data and measurement ecosystems
Proven ability to drive strategic and vendor partnerships to fruition
Well versed in data agreements and their construction
Familiarity with data privacy regulations as they pertain to data matching and sharing
Excellent communicator that can articulate complex ideas and situations to non-technical stakeholders
7+ years in a strategic partnership role with extensive experience with data-related business models, negotiation, pricing, and partnership contracts
5+ years in media, advertising, data or related field
Bachelor's degree and/or Master’s degree in a Business/Advertising/Marketing or related field.
Strong sense of ownership and pride in work
Ability to thrive in constantly evolving environment with limited resources
Familiarity with platform and vendor specific data rights and contract limitations
Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once
Self-starter and pro-active operator; Doesn’t require coaching or specific direction
