Director of Men’s Brand Marketing


J.Crew is looking for a highly motivated, collaborative, innovative thinker to lead J.Crew Men’s brand marketing. They will help set a digital-first brand strategy, re-energize and drive love for the men’s brand, and execute an effective marketing approaches at all customer touchpoints. They must excel at creative problem solving and be able to work efficaciously in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is obsessive about where the menswear industry is headed and is passionate about product storytelling, and the intersection of life, style and culture.

This role will be a key partner in driving overall business aligned with the seasonal strategy and connected to KPIs. The right candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, highly collaborative and an excellent multi-tasker.


  • Execute the brand marketing strategy at the annual/seasonal/monthly/daily levels for the men’s division in alignment with the business strategy

  • Build and nurture partnerships with cross-functional partners, including design, creative, merchandising, and performance marketing

  • Concept men’s-first campaigns, activations and partnerships, and work instep with the women’s and omni marketing leads to align and shepherd J.Crew brand moments

  • Develop strategic product collab rollout strategies, in partnership with merchandising, design and social teams

  • Work with our in-house PR team to support press initiatives

  • Leverage customer insights & analytical tools to increase brand marketing ROI

  • Support the omni strategy director with relevant brand marketing message and product strategies are delivered effectively

  • Partner with the Store Operations and contact center teams to ensure seasonal product messaging and training for selling associates

    Align initiatives with brand marketing KPIs and track progress throughout the life of the programs


  • 8-10 years experience in marketing, with time in specialty retail or fashion, with at least two years at a manager level

  • BA in Marketing or related fields

  • Strong leadership skills and self-starter mentality

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical mindset with ability to connect strategies with tangible outcomes

  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively across categories within a constantly changing environment

  • High-energy person eager to make an impact on the business & team at large
