The Role:The Director, National Account Sales, based in New York City, is responsible for the development of incremental revenue generation for Live Nation Venues. The core focus of this position will be the partner acquisition and management of local, regional and national partners. The Director will also lead the Venues partnership development with Live Nation Sponsorship & Media and Venues partners to drive additional ticket sales opportunities.


  • Prospect, cultivate and close new full season business/corporate hospitality events/premium products with key corporate accounts

  • Serve as business partner internally with the Live Nation Media and Sponsorship team to develop national ticket/corporate programs to enhance the Live Nation value proposition

  • Partner with key vendors within the Venues organization to drive incremental ticket sales opportunities

  • Research and participate in key industry conferences that target vertical segments showcasing Live Nation premium ticket offerings

  • Partner with the Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Directors and Venue Director of Sales in select markets for the development of full season product offering, special event/corporate hospitality offerings to drive new corporate full season business

  • Maintain a pipeline of all sales activities in KORE/Salesforce

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sports/entertainment management, business or related field is required

  • Five to ten years direct business to business sports and entertainment sales experience, preferably in premium seat sales or sponsorship

  • A proven track record in relationship building and networking skills with ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of an organization

  • Demonstrated dedication with the ability to oversee projects from origin through execution with a sense of urgency, sometimes under a high level of pressure

  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards new business development

  • Highly motivated, naturally assertive, with a positive attitude

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Prior experience with Archtics and Ticketmaster systems is a plus
