Director, National Accounts - NBB (OTC Accounts)Reports to: Assistant Vice-President, Sales-Carols Daughter Soft-Sheen Carson Thayers OTCQualifications, Education, Experience & Requirements Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree required5 plus years experience in a Sales Management position in the Consumer Products industryMulticultural Hair Care sales, marketing, and/or analytical experience a plusExperience managing Distributors a plusRequirements:Position is home-office based with the ability to travel overnight and visit various market areas (ranging from 20% to 40% peak seasons)Ability to work weekends as neededWilling to relocate for future potential advancement opportunitiesPossesses a valid driver's license and safe driving record The Director facilitates the management of Carol's Daughter and SoftSheen-Carson within the OTC class of trade in the following ways: Key Job AccountabilitiesAchieve sales objectives and manages all aspects of account P&L in terms of fuel, returns, display support, as part of a team on our OTC AccountsDevelops and executes collaborative Business Development plans to achieve division and account sales objectivesWorking across functions in formal and informal teams to analyze, plan, influence, and implement decisions and plans with OTCBuilds and submit accurate sales forecasts including basic, promotional, display volume, returns, and markdown expensesPlans, organizes, and delivers presentations that demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of businessFacilitates account meetings and demonstrates interpersonal skills during the meeting, while maintaining flexibility and adaptability of the customer's position, level and needsDevelops and maintains high visibility and influence with accounts' key decision makers and decision influencers to advance business opportunities within accountUtilizes all Sales and Marketing data as well as syndicated data such as Nielsen and Consumer Research to achieve brand strategies as it relates to pricing, promotion, distribution and space managementManaging Liaison with 3rd party merchandisers and AVP to develop and execute rigorous programs designed to drive consumption at shelf, ensuring monthly priorities are met both internally and externallyProvides accurate and timely crucial market, trade and competitive information to Sales management(Accountabilities are general and may vary according to the scope of the business and the divisional requirements) Competencies Required Technical / ProfessionalBusiness Acumen -in depth knowledge of business objectives, category, retail dynamics, competitors, market trends and consumersData Analysis -Evaluates data to assess business implication and make sound recommendationsFinancial Knowledge -working knowledge of Financial P&L management and Trade MathCreative -Ability to stimulate collaboration internally and externally to develop creative solutions to complex problemsConflict Management -Work with accounts and internal teams to achieve sometimes conflicting or controversial objectives.Project and Time Management Skills -able to manage multiple projects, and able to refocus priorities as the business dictates in a timely mannerEfficient Computer Skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookRequires effective interpersonal skills, organizational and analytical ability If you require a reasonable accommodation to complete an application for a recognized disability under applicable law, please email \[emailprotected\].
