The Corcoran Group, the leading residential real estate sales and marketing firm, is seeking a versatile Director of Education to manage education programs and a suite of digital learning solutions for its 2,000+ real estate agents, managers and staff. All aspects of the program’s operation and success fall under the Director of Education purview, including creating curriculum, teaching classes, recruiting and preparing instructors, leveraging technology, assisting with facilities, tracking results and communicating with key stakeholders.
REQUIRED: NYC RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE AGENT EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate possesses a strong residential real estate background as a seasoned NYC agent and/or manager, experience with adult learning and development, solid understanding of technology and online marketing best practices, excellent communication skills and above all, a strategic and proactive mindset.
This position will work with our Education Managers, Tech Advisors and Marketing & Content Manager to oversee the deployment and marketing of the education and technology initiatives offered through Agent Studio, our learning and events space, to build awareness and ensure engagement with all agents and staff. The position will report to the VP of Education and be responsible for coverage of 3 primary regions, including NYC, East End and South Florida.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Direct new agent education and ongoing education programs for all levels, both in the classroom and virtual formats
Develop, manage and optimize education curriculum through collaboration with the education and coaching teams, all internal departments, sales managers and agent ambassadors
Serve as subject matter expert and teach classes for agents, managers and branch office staff covering real estate sales, technology, business development, etc.
Oversee staff and manage product training and education on company policies and programs
Create and revise existing learning and operational materials covering ‘how to’ and best practice systems to help agents streamline real estate transactions and develop their business
Oversee new agent orientation process across company to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
Assist with Agent Studio operations and events, and identify and close key gaps between current and aspirational goals for the space
Manage the production and organization of an on demand video library of classes, workshops and events
Scale and manage a dynamic online learning environment that houses and promotes educational materials and classes to our agents, management and staff
Track and report on effectiveness of all learning programs and agent development, including agent enrollment, participation, ROI, product adoption rates, marketing history, and interactions with agent facing teams
Coach team on trends in learning industry to foster greater learning efficiency, impact, accessibility, and design/delivery innovation, including recommendations for social learning and collaboration solutions
Minimum 5 years residential real estate brokerage sales and/or management experience required
Proven track record in delivering classroom training, especially to real estate agents at various levels
Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation and engaging class delivery for all individuals
Project management experience, with strong organization, administrative and time management skills
Diverse skill set and knowledge of real estate, technology, digital marketing and business development, especially as these relate to real estate agent success
Familiar with adult learning, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and instructional design
Experience planning and executing small and large training events, a plus
Self-starter – someone with a proven ability to create organizational change
Excels at collaboration with key stakeholders to accomplish substantial results
