As part of the Business Finance Partners Function, the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team’s primary objective is to manage the Bank’s overall financial portfolio in alignment with strategy by facilitating the integrated resource planning cycle, modeling forecast impact analyses, developing financial reporting and recommendations, as well as implementing operational improvements and business process automation to enhance performance, manage risk, and benchmark to best practices.

What the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis does:

If you are an experienced, strategic, and innovative finance leader with an inclusive leadership style, we invite you to apply for the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) position! In this highly visible role across the Bank and Federal Reserve System, you will oversee and drive all aspects of the Bank’s planning, resourcing, and evaluation cycle. You will lead a team of 5 finance professionals responsible for delivering relevant, value-generating, and forward-looking insights through a strategic and tactical lens to senior leadership in support of the Bank's strategic priorities and decision-making, while developing and maintaining a strong internal control environment.

You will also bring a highly collaborative enterprise mindset, proactively engaging with colleagues across the finance teams and leaders throughout the Bank and System, driving accountability and leadership in advancing towards the desired outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the Bank’s financial planning and analysis processes.

  • Guide the team to provide insightful analyses while ensuring forward-looking planning aligned with the Bank’s strategic priorities.

  • Partner with key Bank and System stakeholders on the financial implications of strategic initiatives and provide recommendations in support of decision making.

  • Be a change agent for innovation of financial tools and practices within the Bank and the System.

  • Model inclusive behaviors and maintain a culture of trust within and beyond the team.

What we are looking for:

  • People leader with strong experience in finance, business, or accounting and demonstrated ability to think strategically and plan effectively.

  • Exceptional and authentic communicator with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.

  • Proven ability to coach, lead and develop others to achieve their professional best while building diverse teams and creating an inclusive culture.

Salary Rang *e: $250000 - $310000 / year *
