About the role

A key memberof the marketing leadership team for Gap Outlet, the Director of Omni CommercialPlanning (North America) is responsible for the development and execution ofthe annual go-to-market promotional marketing strategy for Gap Outlet storesand online. He/she will collaborate closely with other leaders in Marketing toexecute integrated communication and creative plans that are designed tomaximize sales and earnings and deliver a best-in-class customerexperience. He/she must have theability to work at many levels and with many constituents to gain support andadvance business objectives while consistently championing the consumerexperience.

Support the SeniorDirector of Marketing to deliver best-in-class omni commercial planningcapabilities, including overseeing milestone meetings inputs/outputs, testing, pipelineintegration and other toolsesources.

Partnerclosely with cross-functional leaders in Merchandising, Inventory Management, CompanyPlanning, Marketing, E-commerce, Store Operations and GapCard/Loyalty todevelop optimal and executable go-to-market omni commercial plans that are tiedto sales and earnings targets.

Leadpre-season planning meetings with cross-functional leaders (mentioned above) tobuild omni commercial plans for future upcoming seasons.

Lead in-seasonweekly meetings with cross-functional leaders (mentioned above) to ensure omni commercialplans are managed with a balance of commitment to the strategy and flexibilityto read and react to business trend.

Collaborateclosely with co-leaders in Marketing and Creative to ensure omni commercialplans are integrated into the whole brand marketing strategy and translatedinto a compelling, consumer-driven experience.

Collaborate closelywith Company Planning on sales projections, offer construct recommendations andeffectiveness analysis.

Present omnicommercial plans to key business partners and senior management to gain supportand consensus.

Serve ascentral leader and communication hub on detailed plans for all cross-functionalteams.

Leadseasonal omni-channel hindsighting and marketing communications competitiveanalyses to inform future plans.

Who you are

Depth of experience and expertise in retail marketing (7+years), fashion retail preferable

Excellent communication skills with a proven ability toinfluence cross functionally and with senior leadership

Excellent analytical and retail math skills withunderstanding of how promotion levers can be pulled to drive key metrics(Topline Sales, Traffic, Conversion, etc.)

Proven expertise in testing methodology, and how toconstruct a meaningful test to gauge success and impact of various commercialdrivers.

An expressed understanding of the Gap Outlet brand(including brand positioning, target customer, brand aesthetic, competitivelandscape)

Proven experience and ability to work with crossfunctional teams within a highly-matrixed organization
