Adoption of great products/experience requires product-market fit as well as effective positioning, and the ability to successfully create and implement a cross-functional plan.

What we need
We are currently dreaming up (and building) some really cool products and looking at how we continue to evolve our brand and our marketplace. To do this we need to better understand who our customers are, how they work, who they work with, how they use our products, how they feel about those products, how to make the experience valuable, and win their hearts and minds.

This will require us to build a product marketing team and strategy that can help us better understand our customers and market, and leverage that expertise to drive growth and customer success. This is where you come in, we are looking for a passionate product marketing professional responsible for ideating and executing on projects that will drive growth, profitability, and overall success of the footage/video business. You should have experience crafting compelling value propositions and operationalizing them through messaging, marketing collateral, sales materials and thought leadership content.

The day to day

Lead the development of product positioning and messaging that differentiates the product in the market

Plan the launch of new/evolved products and releases, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan

Develop a deep understanding of the marketplace businesses, and help influence the innovations and product roadmap to meet nuanced customer needs

Work with the product and research teams to become the expert on creative workflow buyers - how they buy, what they're creating and their buying criteria

Establish trust and build confidence with cross-functional partners and executive leadership in Design, Product, Sales, Marketing

Work with the product and research teams to become the expert on stock image, video and music buyers and contributors (across asset types) - how they buy, what they're creating and their buying criteria

What does the first six months look like?

Dive in deeply to customer and market research and quickly get up to speed on the existing product roadmap

Lead the development and maintenance of product positioning frameworks. Collaborate with product and content marketing to translate positioning into compelling messaging that resonates with target personas, verticals, and segments

Lead collaboratively with marketing, sales, and product colleagues to develop go-to-market strategies for launching best-in-class marketplace products, including pricing and packaging. Manage cross-functional implementation of plans

Develop comprehensive marketing plans for core products that align with strategic goals for driving awareness, lead generation, pipeline and revenue, cross-sell / upsell, etc.

Work with content marketing, demand generation, and sales to plan integrated campaigns in support of business goals

Develop training materials that enable all customer-facing teams to satisfy our customers

What you bring to the role

You have around ten years or more of professional experience in product marketing

You have demonstrated success and passion for collecting and using customer and market insights to drive strategic decisions

You have expertise developing positioning, messaging and packaging that excited multiple personas, verticals and markets

You are a great storyteller

You are a proactive self-starter, comfortable working across multiple functions to get things done

You have stock image, video, music and/or creative industry experience

You have a passion for working with creatives to empower their experience and monetize their work
