The Director of (FSS) Retail

Marketing will drive the 360 strategic marketing plan & campaigns to drive

market share, improve traffic to our stores, drive consumer engagement through

compelling in-store activations and conversion in the Free-Standing store

channel for Origins.

This role will be responsible for curating launch calendars and

promotions, tailoring and localization of programs, clienteling and consumer

engagement, targeted media campaigns, support in rollout of retail modernization

pilots & Omni channel optimization, store merchandising innovation and

event planning and execution.

PRINCIPLEACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • GENERAL– 20%

  • Partnerwith the Head of Stores (VP Retail, OR/AV/JML) to ensure delivery ofretail channel sales plan

  • Exhibit strongunderstanding of all business KPIs, drivers of retail and business performance(including quantitative and qualitative data) to consistently improve FSSmarketing strategy and propose solution to drive sustainable business.

  • Strategically drive, communicate andexecute marketing FSS programs in line with local relevancy, consumer targetsand brand equity.

  • Define FSS marketing strategy withdeep understanding of FSS consumer data/insight and clear channel positioning

  • Be the voice of FSS channel in allcross functional meetings

  • Build ongoing communication andinformation sharing with field teams

  • Report back success orunderperformance of all FSS marketing programs to help guide futureinvestments/focuses

  • PROGRAMPLANNING AND EXECUTION – 30%

  • Create and driverelevant FSS launch and promotional marketing calendar in line with channel andbrand strategy.

  • Work closely with retail Merchandising and sales planning tooptimize launch forecasting and ongoing SKU performance in line with salestrend and local consumer needs

  • DriveSKU assortment strategy, using consumer insights and competitive analysisto drive growth targets & market share gain. Support retail merchandising and salesplanning.

  • Develop and execute seasonal inventory liquidationstrategies, including markdowns and promotions in partnership with retailmerchandising and sales planning.

  • Quickly define andeffectively drive in store product/collection activation opportunities tomaximize sell-through.

  • Work with Product Marketing todetermine hero products, product architecture and pricing strategy Ensure full alignment with other DTC channels on launchpacing and promotional calendar.

  • Plan and manage all FSS sampling and collateralefforts/effectiveness, with a strong understanding of KPIs and ROI and tailoredexecution.

  • Redefine makeup services opportunity and go to market tostrengthen artistry positioning.

  • CONSUMER RELATIONSHIP & OMNI OPTIMIZATION – 30%

  • Help drive the integration of bricksand .com, working to evolve the business and fully capitalize on the strengthsof each channel.

  • Collaborate with Brand e-commerce team to develop Omnitactics to drive traffic to stores through improved site merchandising andemail strategy.

  • Partner with CRM teamsto drive loyalty programs and clienteling in stores to drive improved capturerate, database growth and successful program results. Drive cross-functional collaboration withonline and COE teams.

  • Understand FSS consumerbehavior and build optimized FSS consumer lifecycle programs.

  • Work closely withConsumer Engagement to conceptualize and successfully execute locally targetedmedia campaigns

  • Define appropriate 3 rd party partnerships to drive consumer engagement and loyalty programs.

  • Support and collaboratewith Omni and Retail ops team towards successful omni pilot integration andresults tracking.

  • EXCELLENCE IN CHANNEL EXECUTION - 20%

  • Partner closely with RetailMerchandising and Planning, Education, Retail Ops and Field VPs to catermarketing efforts to door priorities

  • Work with Regional Sales Directors, FieldExecutives and Field Education Training Managers (FETM) to ensure store teamshave and understand latest launches, have necessary product knowledge,understand and execute to services standards.

  • Work closely with VM and Collateralteams to help ensure excellence in execution for every FSS marketing program.

  • Collaborate with specialevents on unique FSS specific opportunities.

  • Collaborate with storedesign and global merchandising on creating differentiated in-store experiencethrough unique merchandising, collateral opportunities and key categorydistortion.

  • Partner with collateralmanager to ensure collateral timelines and communications to stores

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years relevant retailmarketing experience for brands with large store networks. Preferablebeauty or Fashion.

  • Experiencein complex project management

  • Management of multiple product categories in aretail environment

  • Strongunderstanding of industry, market and retail operations

  • Experiencein DTC channels with understanding of consumerengagement, analytics and Clienteling/ CRM data

  • Verystrong collaboration/communication and analytical skills

  • Provenability to manage complexity and ambiguity

  • Independent,Pro-Active, hands-on, well organized, detail oriented with exceptionalorganizational and follow up skills

  • Team player with the ability tobuild, foster and nurture relationships with members of field and crossfunctional teams

  • Excellent written, verbal, andvisual communication skills

  • Passion for prestigeretail

  • Thorough knowledge of PC (Word,PowerPoint, Excel). Good presentation skills.

  • 20% Travelling required
