PVH Corp. Director, Sales - Tommy Hilfiger in New York, New York

The Director of Sales is responsible for managing all sales related aspects of the Tier 2 account structure. The primary focus on the Macy’s account.


  • Achieve Annual/Qtrly/Monthly sales goals by account to achieve budgets and financial targets

  • Actively oversee tracking/management of all shipping info in preparation for monthly ship spread meeting

  • Shipping receipts of +$300M annually

  • Monitor OTB’s weekly in collaboration with the Planning team, managing a volume of +$160M

  • Develop, with Marketing team strategies by account that represent the TH vision

  • Manage all functions related to market process, including overseeing/managing input of buys into 7th online

  • Participate in all pre and post market account touchpoints (Key Item meetings, Business Strategy, Color & Concept etc.)

  • Communicate with sales team/management on a daily basis

  • Oversee analysis of weekly selling performance by account to manage markdowns effectively

  • Communicate closely with Digital team to achieve planned growth

  • Partner with Merchandising team on seasonal assortments and strategies

  • Work closely with external partners to create a collaborative working environment

  • Responsible to be proactive in providing solutions and recommendations for items affecting sales goals, product strategy and/or retail performance, and shipping goals


  • College degree

  • 10 years fashion sales or retail/wholesale experience

  • Ability to work in a fluid environment with changing priorities and strategies

  • Major department store experience

  • Ability to travel; valid passport required if necessary

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Strategic thinking and tactical delivery

  • Proactive problem solver

  • Strong follow through skills

  • Strong relationship-building skills

  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral

  • PC Skills- MS Office and MS Outlook

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines

  • Detail oriented/innovative traits are necessary

  • Must be able to find the best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency

  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and/or ad hoc projects

  • Must be strong in relationship building – both internal and external
