The Tommy Hilfiger Internship Program offers bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training. In addition to gaining hands-on experience in their department, Interns will attend various cross-functional presentations, learning sessions with Senior Leadership and have the opportunity to work with Interns across the PVH brands on community outreach.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The TH eCommerce Planning & Allocation Intern will assist the Planning & Allocation department in managing and planning merchandise inventory and markdown strategies to drive departmental sales, inventory, profit, and turnover objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Responsibilities may include:

• Learn how an Omni-Channel business operates

• Work with Planning & Allocation departments to learn how to develop business opportunity through analysis and teamwork

• Learn key reports and metrics to drive business

• Learn buy process and in-season/pre-season management

• Attend key meetings and meet the CFT partners

• Assist Planners in maintaining regular analyses:

  • Promotional / markdown strategy

  • Pricing

  • Attributing

• Assist Allocators in maintaining regular analyses

  • Sizing

  • Tracking allocation status

  • Weekly Inventory levels

• Ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed to support Planners and Allocators

• Browse Tommy.com regularly and assist in QA


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Strong teamwork and ability to adjust to competing and shifting priorities

  • Strong degree of ownership and attention to detail

*Please note that applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program during the Spring 2020 semester. School credit is offered but not required. A candidate's application acknowledges that they will be available to intern a minimum of three full days per week throughout the duration of the program, which lasts from January 27-April 17.
