We are currently looking to hire an Associate Project Manager into our New York Mergers & Acquisitions insurance diligence team. These roles fall under Aon's Early Career Development program, known as Launch. Building on the development colleagues receive in the role they are hired into; the Launch program is a supplemental development program for recent college recruits to mentor and develop future leaders of the firm. This 10-month development program begins every summer and includes in-person sessions, networking opportunities, self-study and global leader calls.

Assist with leading property & casualty insurance due diligence projects
Work directly with private equity or corporate clients as well as their other outside advisors which typically include accounting, legal and environmental experts
Coordinating with internal resources to develop findings including brokerage teams, actuarial experts, surety experts, originators and other M&A team members
Assist with managing and executing client deliverables including an end of project report, interim email updates and phone conversations
Analyze insurance coverage, claims history, insurance-related collateral, surety bonds and insurance sections of the draft purchase agreement
Work with and assist originators in establishing relationships, converting due diligence targets to ongoing clients and developing opportunities
Assist with providing ongoing relationship management oversight to private equity clients
Help prepare proposals and make presentations to clientsSkills and experience that will lead to success

Financial - basic understanding of financial statements and accounting
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Results oriented
Proficiency with Word, Excel and Power PointPreferred Experience
Risk Management & Insurance or Finance undergraduate degree
Experience working in both an office and virtual environmentsEducation & Application Information
Bachelor's Degree with majors in Business, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Insurance, and Political Science preferred, but open to all majors. Applicants for this role should graduate between December 2022 - June 2023 and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.

The target salary range for this position in New York is $68,000 to $72,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
