US companies are focusing on EV programs and are almost universally committed to significant EV target achievements by 2030. This drives a marketplace of mobility programs and infrastructure capital spend that will happen almost simultaneously across the EY client base over the next 5-10 years. EY focuses on the entire e-Mobility eco-system and has significant relationships with OEM vehicle manufactures, supply chain providers, charge point operators and the electric utilities who will support the transition from internal combustion engines (ICE) to zero emission vehicles (ZEV) over the coming years.
The US e-Mobility program is in a very fast paced incubate, build and deploy mode as we mature specific solutions and technologies to support the coming maturity of client EV programs in the US. Many US clients are assessing or piloting their mobility program now and we are positioning for the next wave of large-scale deployments that will occur shortly. EY US has funded the expansion of our global e-Mobility program in the US market to address the rapid pace of transition that is occurring.
We need talent in e-Mobility program deployment at our major clients including:
Program strategy, assessment, deployment and on-going operations
Fleet transition assessment and deployment
Utility Charging infrastructure deployment and operations
Utility Customer programs and new revenue models
Enabling technology development and deployment supporting fleet conversion, charging and operations
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Manager in our practice, you will lead both complex, multi-part client engagements to drive our clients’ success and the development of our e-mobility program to maturity and scale. You will be the primary liaison for client engagements and internal program development, ensuring that they’re asking – and getting - actionable strategic answers to better questions. You will play a critical part in driving business development with new and existing clients. But your role is significantly larger than that: you will be a mentor and counsellor that develops our people, you will develop our practice’s offerings and capabilities, and you will shape and support our team’s celebrated culture as a leader. Skills and attributes for success
We are seeking accomplished, highly talented consultants with experience in developing solutions as well as selling and delivering strategy engagements to Fortune 1000 clients. We’re not just looking for managers of engagements and clients, but also outstanding managers of our people, stewards of our culture, business developers, and thought leaders who are keen to help grow our practice.
To qualify for the role, you must have
8 years of overall business experience with a minimum of 2-4 years of business consulting experience related to the Electric Vehicle ecosystem including consulting services related to EVs, OEM EV vehicle experience, charging operations and charging infrastructure and EV related information/operations technologies
A graduate degree from a leading university in business administration or a quantitative discipline
The ability to take complex, abstract questions and issues and structure them into manageable engagements that deliver quality results on-time and on-budget
Recent leadership experience in new program development and deployment
Significant experience selling strategy engagements to the CXO or BU leadership level
Demonstrated experience developing, growing, and maintaining high-level client relationships
The ability to travel (up to 40-60%)
