The Opportunity
We are searching for an enthusiastic, humble and organized Employee Experience Specialist to join our team, reporting to our VP of People. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to drive engagement and deliver an exceptional employee experience for in-office and virtual teams. You'll join a fast-moving, rapidly growing team doing exciting work, where you'll be a critical and valued collaborator.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years in people or project management, office management, team administration, or event planning experience and be an excellent communicator with solid written and verbal presentation.
This role is based in New York City. We are currently working remotely due to COVID-19. We will move towards a hybrid model in the Summer of 2022.
What You Will Do
People Processes and Operations:
Support the delivery of a world-class new hire and onboarding experience to create a warm and welcoming experience for new employees
Communicate company policies and procedures
Manage the "return to office" planning processes, inclusive of managing and administering all city and state compliance initiatives related to Covid-19/ "returning-to-office" protocols
Culture and Special Events:
Design and deliver culture programs by identifying needs, securing resources, and prioritizing work
including project planning, execution, employee communication and coordination for Kaiyo's in-person and virtual company events, recognition programs, anniversary celebrations, social events, culture surveys and other culture-related activities
Serve as an ambassador of the company and promote the company's culture, mission, and values
Execute employer branding initiatives on social media and any appropriate channels
Own Our Team Environment:
Hands-on management for the office and all facilities (NY, NJ, PA, MD, and CA)
Maintain and enhance organizational systems for administrative work, swag packages, guest coordination, and regulatory compliance
Be the go-to person making sure that the team has what they need to be productive; equipment is working, and supplies are in stock
Ensure that the office is clean, organized, and welcoming
Vendor Management:
Build relationships and manage outside vendors including catering, event venues, swag, and others
Who You Are
Minimum of 3+ years in people or project management, office management, team administration, event planning
Excellent communicator with solid written and verbal presentation
Verifiable track record of high-performance work at all previous positions
Self-directed, motivated, resourceful, and a strong sense of ownership
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to tackle both large and small tasks
Strong computer literacy; familiar with Google Suite
