Situation Group Executive Director of Optimization & Measurement in New York, New York
The Studio at Situation Group crafts award-winning work for the world’s leading entertainment, education and mission-driven brands. The Studio seeks an Executive Director of Optimization & Measurement to work closely with cross-functional teams to set the vision, strategy, and roadmap to deliver cutting edge data, technology and analytics solutions across a portfolio of clients. This role will report to the Managing Partner and oversee collection of data and its use. Inclusive of data integrity, consent management, permissioning, privacy and first party data legislation. The selected candidate will demonstrate the ability to spearhead and confidently lead strategic conversations with senior agency leadership.
What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for overseeing and leading our analytics team. Your role will involve supervising the department's day-to-day operations with data integrity being a top priority. You will collaborate with other department heads to ensure that data/measurement efforts align with organizational goals and objectives. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing best practices, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the analytics team.
Our office is located in midtown Manhattan and we are currently working in-office three days per week.
Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Consult on growth opportunities and identify new ways to use data to solve business challenges and support growth.
Own partnership relations.
Oversee the evolving landscape of ad tech; making recommendations on how to handle things like the need for an MMP, iOS 14 impact, third-party cookie deprecation, GA4 emergence, CCPA compliance, etc.
Serve as a point of contact for advanced DOMO requests.
Own privacy and data compliance for Situation Group, collaborating with Managing Partner, Situation Group and our legal partners. Inclusive of maintaining privacy, cookie and T&C policies, identifying data processing concerns and related agency workflows/notifications.
Drive the adoption of industry-leading measurement solutions and methodologies across all brands and markets, ensuring consistency and best practices.
Oversee and drive growth of our proprietary first party data network (Situation Exchange).
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
Requirements
10 years relevant work experience in data, insights, analytics, and technology with expertise in digital media
Fluency with DOMO or similar BI tool.
3-4 years of experience managing a team of data, analytics and advertising tech & marketing tech specialists and strong management skills
Bachelor’s or Graduate in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science
Possess strong leadership skills, with a calm demeanor. (strong-decision making skills and the ability to manage up)
Strong sense of urgency with sensitivity to time pressures and multiple deadlines
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills (negotiating, listening, collaboration)
