PXP is looking to hire a talented Executive Producer, Live-Action

This is a hybrid role (in office 3x days a week) based in on our NYC office at 375 Hudson.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Producer to support the leaderships of our live action production team. As an Executive Producer, you will manage the production process, from brief, development, and to final delivery. Your production expertise, leadership skills, and industry knowledge will be instrumental in bringing our projects to life. Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible all aspects of live action production, including bidding, pre-production, production, and post-production.

  • Collaborate with directors and creatives to shape the creative vision of each project.

  • Report into Director, Live Action. Manage and mentor team of producers.

  • Review scripts, storyboards, and shooting plans to ensure alignment with the project's creative vision.

  • Work closely with the finance team to track production budgets & develop strategies to ensure team are aligned to financial targets. Ensure that productions are executed within budget and on schedule.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment for the staff, cast, and crew.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in live action production.

  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and partners.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow and expand client accounts.

  • Collaborate with other departments to align strategies and achieve overall company goals.

  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.

  • Understand client needs and develop tailored solutions to meet them.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Producer or a similar high-level role at a commercial production company or within the film industry.

  • Extensive knowledge of live action production processes, including pre-production, shooting, and post-production.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide production teams to success.

  • Exceptional creative and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for visual and narrative details.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing production budgets.

  • Bachelor's degree in film production, media studies, or a related field is preferred but not essential.

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $121,000 - $204,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of

the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
