Strategy is a multi-disciplinary team of Creative, Social, Digital Experience Strategy experts, unified by a shared ambition to design experiences that move people.
The strategy team at CoLab is responsible for unearthing consumer insights and evaluating digital behaviors to create competitive advantage for our clients. This can be a deep look into a single behavior or a broader look that identifies and evaluates all of the opportunities available to make sound business and marketing decisions.
Both strategic planning and analytics are key dimensions to our work. Logical thinking that breaks problem solving into a discrete, clear flow is critical to providing credible and persuasive recommendations to our clients. We are fiercely committed to delivering high-quality analysis, in a structured, thoughtful presentation, with strict attention to deadlines and deliverables.
In general, to succeed in Strategy, candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic, exceptional analytical skills, and a knack for converting insights into creative, actionable recommendations for our clients. An ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in both written and oral form and build trusted internal and external relationships are also key. Backgrounds in agency and consulting organizations are desired, as skills in analyzing and presenting information are honed.
This position is suited to a strategist with a minimum of 8-12 years’ experience working in a similar agency environment. The EVP, Strategy Director will be responsible for overseeing all strategic work streams and driving the strategic vision for the brand.
The right candidate will understand that content is fuel for the patient journey and through data uncover the insights that develops the content patients need to help move through their journey making educated, wellness-focused decisions. Responsibilities
As an EVP, Strategy Director your comprehensive brand and engagement expertise will be essential to providing strategic thought leadership on key client engagements.
Demonstrating an intimate understanding of how consumers interact with all stakeholders (DTC and healthcare professionals) this pivotal role demands a focus on how to identify and solve clients’ business challenges most effectively through an orchestrated system of paid, owned and earned touchpoints that inspires connected creativity.
Day-to-day, your role will concentrate on guiding strategy across key accounts while delivering industry-leading service, which includes:
Building strong relationships with clients, ranging from everyday interactions to top executives, to become an essential strategic and business partner.
Guiding the strategic direction with both internal and external teams to enhance our clients' brand development and marketing strategies.
Deeply understanding our clients' business goals, challenges, threats, and opportunities, including staying aware of new competitive threats, and creating actionable strategic recommendations based on that knowledge.
Using experiences from other brands and areas to support and inspire new strategies and solutions.
Gaining a detailed understanding of our clients' customers' desires, needs, and behaviors throughout their entire journey.
We are seeking a highly experienced professional (12+ years of relevant experience, with an advanced degree preferred) for a pivotal role leading our global vaccines team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of impactful work and professional ingenuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of brand strategy and omni-channel orchestration in the healthcare space to inspire teams and deliver exceptional work .
Pharma Marketing Experience: Demonstrate a successful track record within the pharmaceutical marketing space on the agency side.
Analytical Thinking: Utilize your strong analytical skills and extensive experience with media-centric tools such as Comscore, MRI, and Google Analytics to uncover data and insights that drive strategic communications planning and implementation.
Creative Storytelling: Be a creative provocateur and persuasive storyteller, endlessly curious and capable of shifting perspectives. Use data and narrative collaboration to illuminate powerful insights and drive growth.
Collaboration: Act as a true collaborator, connecting the dots on large-scale projects across multiple digital properties.
Team Management: Serve as an approachable manager with a solid track record of team oversight, looking to further develop your management skillset.
Professional Skills: Exhibit exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the flexibility to adapt quickly to change.
Qualifications
12+ years of relevant experience, with an advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in digital marketing and omni-channel orchestration.
Successful track record in pharmaceutical marketing.
Strong analytical skills with experience using media-centric tools.
Creative storytelling ability and a knack for uncovering insights through data.
Experience managing large-scale projects and collaborating across digital properties.
Demonstrated team management skills and a desire to further develop these skills.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Compensation Range: $315,000-$360,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
