EY-Parthenon's Digital Business Building teams help our clients innovate at the speed of a startup, leveraging their core strengths to deliver breakthrough impact fast and with targeted capital investment. Your key responsibilities

As a Digital Product Manager in our Digital Business Building practice, you will be a vital member of the team helping to identify, navigate, lead, and deliver on strategic digital opportunities with our clients. You will help shape, design, and create customer-centric products, at scale, supported by an MVP approach that continuously evolves through rapid prototyping. You will also help execute client projects across one or more sectors, partnering with our client service team in developing and executing strategies for Digital projects – working across service lines. You will also be focusing on business and practice development as well as developing team members to achieve their career goals.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Craft a product vision (short to long term) and convert that into a concrete product strategy with the goal to build best in class digital products

  • Partner with business owners to build product roadmaps; collaborate with software development, data science and user experience design teams to execute the product roadmap

  • Conduct user research and usability studies, collaborating with designers, developers and research teams.

  • Working knowledge of agile development methodologies

  • Participate in market research, validation, and whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for new and existing features

  • Manage the product roadmap and backlog for all digital products

  • Work on analyzing large data sets to identify business opportunities / efficiencies

  • Oversee and manage lead requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing

  • Partner with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization

Required Leadership Skills

  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.

  • Ability to help define the vision and participate in and promote a digitally innovative culture.

  • Ability to foster relationships and create demand within existing and new accounts

  • Ability to prioritize effectively on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with client executives

To qualify for the role you must have

  • At least 4 years of progressive management consulting experience in a top-tier consultancy in the Strategy, Digital, Analytics practices or 4 years of product management experience at a tech company/start up or ex-entrepreneurs with 0 to 1 experience building products/businesses

  • 4 years of product management experience focused on a particular industry sector with understanding of the digital landscape within that sector

  • History of building great products and solving customer and business challenges

  • Understanding of how digital impacts top-line (e.g., new business models, platforms) and bottom line (e.g., efficiency and productivity) opportunities

  • Experience driving the sales and pursuits related to digital business building engagements

  • Credentials or qualifications, and ability to speak credibly on at least one of the following emerging technologies: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, IoT, AR/VR, RPA/Intelligent Automation, Cloud / Big Data, Machine Learning

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics. MBA or Master’s degree preferred

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% on short notice

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience working on large digital programs in complex business environments

  • Potential to grow into a leadership position within the company

  • Background of working with digital innovation hubs and an understanding of the digital start-up landscape.

  • Proven experience in a Digital ventures, mergers or acquisitions

  • An entrepreneurial and growth mindset to continue to build our Digital practice capabilities and solutions

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $205,000 to $235,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
