The EY-Parthenon sub-service line comprises three competencies: Strategy; Transaction Strategy and Execution; and Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy. EY-Parthenon – Transaction Strategy and Execution has a market-leading proposition to create and maximize value for our clients, whether they are acquiring or divesting assets, or undertaking operational restructuring.
Transactions Strategy and Execution – Financial Services works on the most complex and high-profile global transactions in the financial services sector. You will help prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions and people. You have the opportunity to develop your career through a broad scope of engagements, mentoring and formal learning.
Your key responsibilities
As an Associate in Transaction Strategy and Execution -Financial Services, you will be a vital member of the team supporting and executing operational focused projects. You'll assist with the execution of projects supporting our client service team in developing strategies for transactions. Part of your role will also involve developing experience across a range of different type of engagements including pre and post deal phases.

To qualify for the role, you must have
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 1 year of related work experience; or a graduate degree and some related work experience.
MBA is preferred.
Experience working with financial services clients, including banking, capital markets, asset management, and/or insurance companies.
Demonstrated skills for quantitative and qualitative analysis and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
Ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 80% on short notice.
Ideally you’ll also have
Previous experience in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role.
Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
